firedrake books

Firedrake Books, LLC was formed in 2013 as a publisher of middle grade and young adult books. Beginning in winter 2016 we are expanding to include children's chapter books.

Firedrake Books is a member of the Independent Book Publisher's Association (IBPA) and is recognized as a publisher by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). We publish only 2-4 books a year as print-on-demand and e-books.

Nikki Bennett: President and editor - Nikki has a Master in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and is a member of the National Association of Independent Editors and Writers. She has edited several books, both for Firedrake Books, LLC. and as an independent editor. Nikki is a writer of mainly middle grade and young adult novels.

Georgia Vinup: Vice President - Georgia is an author of historical fiction and also assists with book acquisition.

Steve Bennett: Cover design and illustration: Steve is a graphic artist most known for his talent in Japanese animation (anime). He has designed covers for several books at Firedrake.

Pete Chiappinelli: Cover design - Pete is a freelance graphic artist and provides cover design artwork.
